We are a congregation of the Lord's people that meet in Emory, Texas. A church is not a building. A church is a group of individuals that have been saved out of the world in accordance with the commandments given in the New Testament. As God has commanded, we meet on the first day of every week (Hebrews 10:25,26) to worship Him. Our worship is patterned after the first century church found in the New Testament. Each first day of the week, Sunday, we meet together to pray (Acts 2:42), sing (Colossians 3:16), partake of the Lord's Supper (Acts 20:7), hear a lesson from the Word of God (II Timothy 4:2), and make individual contributions to carry on the work of the church (I Corinthians 16:1-2). Visitors are not expected to contribute; only regular members contribute as they have prospered. We do not follow any man made doctrine and strive to do only that which has been authorized by God in the New Testament, neither adding to His commandments nor taking away from them (Revelation 22:18–19).

We would be honored to have you join us at any of our worship services and our Bible study classes.
