Our Commitment to Scripture
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the sole guide for faith and practice, fully sufficient to instruct us in all matters concerning life, godliness, and the organization of the church. We seek to speak where the Bible speaks and remain silent where it is silent.

God
We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator of all things, perfectly holy, just, loving, and sovereign over all creation.

Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for the sins of mankind, was buried, and rose again on the third day. He now reigns at the right hand of God and is the only Savior and mediator between God and man. One day He will judge the world in righteousness according to their deeds.

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is God. He inspired holy men of old to record what we now regard as the 66 books of the Bible. He also helps the Christian by interceding for us in prayer with “groanings too deep for words.”

The Church
We believe the church is the body of Christ, composed of all who have been saved. It is not a denomination but the spiritual fellowship of believers. Each local congregation is autonomous and governed by Christ, with leadership provided by elders and deacons according to the New Testament pattern. Christ only created one church and in order to be saved one must be added to it through baptism into Christ for the remission of sins.

Unity in Christ
We believe in the unity of all believers in Christ, grounded in the truth of God’s Word. We seek to maintain the unity of the Spirit while holding firmly to the teachings of Scripture.

Salvation
We believe that salvation is by the grace of God, made possible through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In response to the gospel, individuals are called to:
Hear the Word of God – Romans 10:17
Believe in Jesus Christ – Acts 16:31
Repent of their sins – Luke 13:3, 5
Confess their faith in Christ – 2 Timothy 2:12
Be baptized by immersion for the forgiveness of sins – Mark 16:16
We believe that baptism is the point at which one receives the forgiveness of sins and is added by God to His church.

Worship
We believe that corporate worship should follow the pattern found in the New Testament and include:
Singing praises to God – Colossians 3:16.
Prayer – 1 Thessalonians 5:17.
Teaching and preaching from Scripture – 2 Timothy 4:1-5
Observance of the Lord’s Supper each first day of the week – Acts 20:7.
Giving as prospered – 1 Corinthians 16:1-2.
We seek to worship God in spirit and in truth with simplicity and reverence. John 4:24
The Christian Life
We believe that Christians are called to live holy and godly lives, demonstrating love, humility, and obedience to God. We strive to grow in faith, serve others, and share the gospel with all people.

The Hope of Eternal Life
We believe in the return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment. The righteous will dwell eternally with God, and those who reject Him will face eternal separation.
